CVS Run

Today I went to CVS to get some more Diet Dr. Pepper. I had a $3 ECB from the begining of the week when I got 4 cases for $11 with a $3 ECB, so I wanted to get some more. I bought it and did not know that you could get another $3 ECB with purchase, but I got another one. I also picked up some clearance stuff. Here's what I got:

4 flexible straws- clearance to $.25 each

4 boxes freezer zip lock baggies clearance to $.25 each

Electric Razor (gift for DH for his birthday) $2.50

CVS Clearance Deals

Last week I went to CVS. I wanted to get some Fiber One bars because all Walmart has had for weeks is the Strawberry and oats flavor. So, I found some fiber one bars in the clearance bins because it had September 19 on it. It said $2.00 on the front. I took it because they are $2.50 at Walmart and I had a $.60 off coupon. I also picked up a lot of bags of clearance marshmallows. When I got to the register, the manager told me that the Fiber one bars were suppose to be $1.00 so I got them for $.40 after my coupon! What a steal! I have lots of campfire marshmallows to make rice krispy treats too!

As some of you who read my other blog, Honey I Shrank Myself! , know, I am trying to lose 100 pounds this year! This week, I am going to start something new. I am going to have a soup and sandwiches night and a breakfast dinner every week. These are two really cheap meals to help keep the cost down.
